Five categories, 1,000 points
At build time, a custom script reviews the actual output of every page and adds points per check. Each category has a fixed maximum:
- Technical SEO (250): unique titles and descriptions of useful length, canonical, a single H1, structured data, internal links that resolve, robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt.
- Delivery performance (250): compressed JavaScript, CSS and HTML weight per page against a budget, no render-blocking scripts, self-hosted fonts and immutable caching.
- Static accessibility (200): language, heading order, alternative text, form labels, accessible names, landmarks and a skip-to-content link.
- Delivery security and privacy (150): security headers, content policy, consent denied by default, third-party loads and external links.
- Content and operation (150): zero terms excluded by our style guide, zero figures without a source, zero pending texts, and measurement and form up and running.
What it is not
It is not Lighthouse, it does not measure field data from real users and it does not replace an accessibility audit with people. It is updated at every build, not every second. The next step is to add a scheduled measurement with field data; the measurement format is already designed for that.
